After his secondary education, Mr. Ismail OZCAN, the founder of Mimario Gayrimenkul İnşaat Müşavirlik Gıda Turizm San. and Tic. Inc., started his architectural education at Dokuz Eylül University (DEÜ) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture, in 1993. Starting from 1996, he worked as an apprentice architect with Mr. Orhan ERDIL, Architect - Engineer M.Sc. at Erdil İnşaat A.Ş. for 1.5 years.

After completing his undergraduate education in 1998, he started his master's degree in the same year at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Architecture, Division of Building Information. Ismail OZCAN, who has prepared the thesis named "CHANGE" OF TENDENCIES IN TOURISM AND DESIGN PRINCIPLES OF HOLIDAY VILLAGES' OUTDOOR SPACES under the instruction by Prof. Dr. Nur ESİN, completed his master's degree in 2001.

OZCAN, who worked as mid and senior level manager in the private sector companies for many years, is currently the real estate department president of GMK Group Proje Yatırım A.Ş. and the chairman of the board of GAPAS - Association of Real Estate Marketing and Sales Professionals. Being a memver of GAPAS, Mr. OZCAN is also a member of CEPI - European Association of Real Estate Professions.
